Life Safety Dampers
Ruskin manufactures an extensive line of
UL rated and listed dampers to protect life and mitigate property loss during a life
safety event. Ruskin Fire, Smoke, and combination fire/smoke dampers meet the strict
requirements established by the International Fire Code (IFC) and the International
Building Code (IBC). Ruskin UL listed solutions are available with a variety of
standard features and labor-saving options.
Ruskin Fire dampers are UL555 rated and available for both Static & Dynamic
(airflow) conditions; 90min & 180min fire rating and in both curtain type and
multi-blade type configurations.
Ruskin Fire & Smoke dampers are UL555 rated for 90/180min and UL555S rated for
leakage classes – 1 / 2 /3 @ 250 /350 deg F ambient airflow conditions.
Ruskin smoke dampers are UL555S rated for leakage classes – 1 / 2 /3 @ 250 /350 deg
F ambient airflow conditions – suitable for smoke exhaust applications.
